ENZ celebrated MOU signing ceremony between RMUT and University of Otago and between SU and University of Canterbury.

Ms. Jaruwan Pongjaruwat, Education New Zealand(ENZ) Director of Education-Thailand, New Zealand Embassy led a senior delegation from Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT) and Silpakorn University (SU) to visit multiple universities and Te P?kenga business divisions across both the north and the south island.

The aim of this visit was to facilitate an MOU signing between RMUT and University of Otago and between SU and University of Canterbury.

This visit also further develop the relationship these offshore partners have with Te P?kenga. Previously RMUT partnered with Wintec, Weltec and Otago Polytechnic in student and teacher mobility projects.

However, this was also the first time these delegates had visited the University of Waikato and the University of Canterbury to learn more about the areas in which these institutions excel!

ENZ hopes that this visit will lead to future projects in the areas of; teacher development, articulation programmes, student mobility and a joint foundation programme which will now be extended to cover students studying science and health science and allow them to pathway to all 8 New Zealand universities.
