LG Thailand organized a CSR project to renovate Wat Klong Klone school in Samut Songkhram Province, providing “Life’s Good Playground” equipment to support learning and creative play for young students.
LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently brought together volunteers from LG Thailand to participate in activities aimed at restoring Wat Klong Klone school, located in Mueang District, Samut Songkhram Province. The activity involved painting the school building, improving the school playground and Basketball court, painting a playing field with ‘Unplug Coding’ concept that support analytical and systematic thinking to kindergarten and primary students, and donating a Life’s Good Playground to students. In addition, LG Thailand donated and installed an air conditioner worth 95,790 baht to the school with the goal of supporting the students’ health and mental well-being. The playground equipment is designed to promote fun and creativity according to LG’s Playground concept, while the top-quality air conditioner ensures good air quality. This project is expected to help Thai youths pay full attention to learning and enhance the quality of life for local people in line with LG’s Life’s Good concept.
Mr. Sunghan Jung, President of LG Electronics (Thailand), Co., Ltd, stated, “The activity to renovate Wat Klong Klone school and improve its playground in Samut Songkhram Province by LG Thailand employees is in line with LG’s commitment to delivering a good quality of life according to our Life’s Good mission and supporting the development of Thai youths through creative play, as per our Playground concept. This CSR activity was attended by more than 30 LG employees, including our partner from Wong Anan Sales and Services Limited Partnership. Additionally, LG donated an air conditioner product to Wat Klong Klone School to help enhance the learning capabilities of Thai youths, who will be an important force in the future, by delivering good air quality to school children.”
As part of the activity to renovate Wat Klong Klone school, LG Thailand donated an air conditioner product, model ZPNQ48GT3A0 48,000 BTU, valued at 95,790 baht, for the use of teachers and students at Wat Khlong Khon School. The product was designed to meet the needs of consumers with cutting-edge innovation in line with the Life’s Good concept. In addition, LG donated playground equipment worth 450,000 baht to schoolchildren. This CSR project is one of LG Thailand’s goals to give back to Thai society throughout the year 2024, with at least one project per quarter.
n 2023, LG Thailand, the world leader in air conditioner and air purifier innovation, recognizes the importance of supporting the health of Thai youths and younger generations in ASEAN who may be vulnerable to the problem of smog and small dust particles (PM2.5), especially young people living in the northern region of Thailand and some areas in Cambodia and Lao PDR that face pollution problems every year. Therefore, LG initiated a project to donate air conditioners, air purifiers, and other LG products worth more than a million Thai Baht to help support teaching and learning in a pollution-free environment for good health among youth in various educational institutions both in Thailand and other countries. The goal of the project is to support students to have good health and a positive mentality through good air quality so they can pay full attention to learning and become an important force for their countries in the future.
