New Zealand: Preparing Graduates for Global Success.

New Zealand continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the world’s most respected education destinations.

In the latest QS World University Rankings 2027, New Zealand ranked No. 1 in the world for Employment Outcomes, demonstrating its ability to prepare graduates with the skills, adaptability and global outlook sought by employers worldwide.

All eight New Zealand universities are ranked among the world’s leading universities, while New Zealand schools are internationally recognised for their student-centred approach, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and real-world problem solving.

Beyond academic excellence, New Zealand offers students a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment, where personalised learning and wellbeing are central to every stage of the education journey.

Celebrating 70 Years of Educational Partnership

The 2026 fair will showcase the breadth of New Zealand education—from English language programmes and secondary schools to vocational education, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak directly with education providers about study pathways, scholarships, admissions, accommodation, student life and future career opportunities.

The event also reflects the long-standing relationship between Thailand and New Zealand, with Thailand continuing to be one of New Zealand’s Top 10 international student source markets.

International Confidence Continues to Grow

Global demand for New Zealand education continues to rise.

The latest full-year data from Education New Zealand shows that 92,580 international students were enrolled with New Zealand education providers in 2025—an 11% increase compared with 2024 and reaching 80% of pre-COVID enrolment levels. The continued growth reflects strong global confidence in New Zealand’s high-quality education system and its reputation as a safe, welcoming, and future-focused study destination.

The quality of the student experience also remains a key strength. According to the International Student Experience Survey 2025, 87% of international students rated their overall experience positively, while 92% rated their experience of people and connections positively, highlighting New Zealand’s welcoming communities, supportive learning environment, and strong sense of belonging
